Apple will release new Apple watch 7 this fall as new Apple watch has been released every yeah since the device was first introduced in 2015. Based on precedents, the Apple Watch 7 won’t change a lot but will get some new features. Like the Apple Watch 6 got a blood oxygen reader and always-on altimeter, while the Apple Watch 5 got a compass and the first iteration of an always-on display. According to rumors and the latest news, Let’s focus on some aspects that Apple watch fans may concern.

1. Price of apple watch 7

There’s no news about the cost but based on the previous price consistency, we can refer to the start price of the Apple Watch 6 at $399 / £379 / AU$599. Therefore, we’d expect the Apple Watch 7 will cost around that much too. If you are worried about your budget, it is a good choice to choose Apple Watch Series 6 or Apple Watch SE, because they are obviously different in design but too much in function.

2. New features

From the new report by Bloomberg‘s Mark Gurman and Debby Wu:

“The Cupertino, California-based tech giant is planning to refresh the line this year — with a model likely dubbed the Apple Watch 7 — by adding a faster processor, improved wireless connectivity and an updated screen, according to people with knowledge of the plans.”

A faster processor can help watchOS 8 run quickly and the new Apple Watch 7 will include updated ultra-wideband functionality, the same underlying technology in the Apple AirTag item finder.

But something is disappointing:

“Apple had previously aimed to put a body temperature sensor in this year’s model, but that is now more likely to be included in the 2022 update. The blood-sugar sensor, which would help diabetics monitor their glucose levels, is unlikely to be ready for commercial launch for several more years.”

That means the body temperature sensor and blood-sugar sensor won’t be applied this year that had previously been rumored.

With watchOS 8, Cycling, Workout and Fall detection are updated. Fall detection algorithms are optimized to detect falls during workouts(including cycling), as well as the impact of the falls from a bike and other workout types. But watchOS 8 applied to all the series now.

Apple Watch can measure calories and evaluate heart rate accurately with watchOS 8 when users start an outdoor workout. New voice feedback can also help users stay focused during workout such as running.

Fitness may launch Group Workouts through SharePlay, where users can exercise with lots of people at the same time, up to 32 people.

It can be seen that the sports function of the Apple Watch 7 may be improved, but it will not be obvious.

3. Apple watch band compatibility

The Apple Watch 7 is still compatible with all the former bands? The answer is yes. Your old Apple watch band will fit the new one as long as you get the same size (38mm is the same as 40mm, and 42mm is the same as 44mm), although it’s just slightly larger.

But we are excitedly expecting to the new style of Apple Watch bands, even though there are many types of Apple Watch Straps: Magnetic Mesh bands, Silicone bands etc. You can choose bands and cases from Adepoy. com. The (PRODUCT) RED of the 7 and floral scrunchies band are more suitable for Women.

And here is different kind of Apple watch bands worth having.

Sport band–The band is durable and robust, yet soft. You don’t feel it when you wear it. A good option for running.

Magnetic band–Business style. There are different color to match your watch!

4. System and software

Apple Watch 7 will run watchOS 8. That will make some changes to the software. Highlights include a new Mindfulness app, the addition of Tai Chi and Pilates to the Workout app, the ability to track respiratory rate while you sleep, and a redesigned Photos app.

5. Battery

A report by Taiwan’s UDN claims that the new Apple Watch 7 will be equipped with a battery with a larger capacity, allowing us to charge the watch only every few days.

6. Color and design

For the color, the same report by UDN said that there will be multiple new ones to choose from, but not knowing what exactly colors is it.

The display screen will be thicker, mentioned in the report by Bloomberg‘s Mark Gurman and Debby Wu:

“For this year’s model, Apple has tested thinner display borders and a new lamination technique that brings the display closer to the front cover. The new Watch is likely to be slightly thicker overall, but not in a way that’s noticeable to the user.”

A number of Leaked renders have revealed that the Apple Watch 7 will adopt the same flat-edged sides as the iPhone 12. According to the rumors, the 7 is 1.7 mm thinner than the Series 6, which is a great thickness decrease. This will accentuate the device’s thickness more than the current models with curved edges. With an IP6X certification, the device is more shatter- and dustproof in addition to being water resistant ups to 50 meters.

In closing, the report also mentioned that the rugged watch for extreme sport which was expected to be released this year, is now more likely to launch in 2022.

7. Display

Is the apple watch 7 a new size? The upcoming model was expected to be the biggest upgrade of the display. Going from 40 and 44 mm to 41 and 45mm, Bloomberg stated. The Apple Watch looks larger with a tiny 1.7mm bezel. Actually it is enough of an improvement for Apple to create exclusive watch faces that utilize the extra screen.

The secret behind the more compact apple watch 7, new S7 chip, featuring a double-sided design, allows for improved wireless connectivity for cellular and Wi-Fi networking, plus a new U1 Ultra Wide band chip that’s even more responsive.

8. Keyboard and fast charging

A QWERTY keyboard comes to Apple Watch thanks for the expanded screen, which allows you to tap out messages just like on iPhone. With an updated charging architecture and fast-charging USB-C cable, Apple states it would take about 45 minutes to go from 0 to 80% charge, 33% faster than the Apple Watch series 6. But we see no real improvement of the battery life.

Apple products always breakthrough innovations, which leaves a great impression on their fans. Looking forward to Apple Watch 8.
